PayPort Direct Digital Dollar / USDC Disclosure
Effective Date: August 14, 2026
This Digital Dollar / USDC Disclosure (“Disclosure”) provides important information about using Digital Dollar, USDC, Business Wallet, blockchain, and related functionality through PayPort Direct.
PayPort Direct is operated by WebWise Solutions LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company.
This Disclosure supplements the PayPort Direct Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By using Digital Dollar / USDC functionality through PayPort Direct, you acknowledge the risks and responsibilities described below.
1. What PayPort Direct Means by “Digital Dollar”
PayPort Direct uses the term “Digital Dollar” primarily to describe supported U.S. dollar-denominated digital assets used through PayPort Direct, including USDC.
USDC is a digital asset commonly referred to as a stablecoin. It is designed by its issuer to maintain a value associated with the U.S. dollar.
A Digital Dollar or USDC balance is not the same thing as cash held in a traditional bank account.
PayPort Direct may change the digital assets, blockchain networks, wallet infrastructure, or related technologies it supports over time.
2. PayPort Direct Is Not a Bank
PayPort Direct and WebWise Solutions LLC are not banks or credit unions.
A PayPort Direct Business Wallet is not a traditional bank checking or savings account.
Digital assets held in or accessible through a Business Wallet should not be assumed to have the same protections, insurance, guarantees, or legal treatment as funds deposited with an FDIC-insured bank.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, PayPort Direct does not provide deposit accounts or FDIC insurance.
3. PayPort Direct Is a Software and Technology Platform
PayPort Direct provides software and technology that helps businesses invoice customers and use supported payment methods, including Digital Dollar / USDC payments.
Digital Dollar functionality may depend on third-party wallet infrastructure, blockchain networks, smart contracts, account-abstraction technology, payment infrastructure, or other service providers.
PayPort Direct does not control every component involved in a blockchain transaction.
Network conditions, provider availability, smart-contract functionality, regulatory changes, outages, congestion, security events, or other circumstances may affect Digital Dollar functionality.
4. USDC Is Not Guaranteed by PayPort Direct
PayPort Direct does not issue USDC.
PayPort Direct does not determine or guarantee the value of USDC.
Although USDC is designed to maintain a value associated with the U.S. dollar, PayPort Direct makes no guarantee that one USDC will always equal one U.S. dollar or that USDC will always be redeemable, liquid, available, or supported.
The operation, reserves, redemption policies, and other characteristics of USDC are determined by its issuer and applicable providers, not by WebWise Solutions LLC.
Businesses should independently determine whether accepting or holding USDC is appropriate for them.
5. Blockchain Transactions May Be Irreversible
Blockchain transactions generally cannot be canceled or reversed in the same manner as traditional card payments.
Before sending USDC or another supported digital asset, carefully verify:
- the recipient;
- wallet address;
- blockchain network;
- digital asset;
- transaction amount; and
- other transaction details.
Sending digital assets to an incorrect wallet address, unsupported network, incompatible address, or unintended recipient may result in permanent loss.
PayPort Direct may not be able to recover incorrectly transmitted digital assets.
6. Business Wallet
PayPort Direct may provide or facilitate access to a Business Wallet using supported wallet and blockchain infrastructure.
The Business Wallet is designed to make Digital Dollar functionality easier for businesses to use through the PayPort Direct interface.
Businesses remain responsible for:
- protecting their PayPort Direct account;
- using appropriate authentication and security practices;
- reviewing transactions before authorizing them;
- maintaining accurate recipient information; and
- promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
The availability and operation of Business Wallet functionality may depend on third-party infrastructure.
7. Public Blockchain Information
Blockchain networks may be public.
Information associated with a blockchain transaction can include:
- wallet addresses;
- transaction hashes;
- transaction amounts;
- digital assets transferred;
- timestamps; and
- other blockchain activity.
This information may be publicly visible and may remain available indefinitely.
A wallet address should not be assumed to be private simply because a person's or business's name is not displayed directly on the blockchain.
Third parties may analyze public blockchain activity and potentially associate wallet addresses with businesses, individuals, or other activity.
8. Digital Dollar Payments Are Different From Card Payments
Digital Dollar / USDC payments differ from Card and ACH payments.
Card payments may involve chargebacks, card-network rules, processor disputes, and other consumer-payment mechanisms.
Blockchain payments may instead become final after they are submitted and confirmed by the applicable network.
Businesses should establish appropriate refund and customer-service procedures for Digital Dollar payments.
If a business chooses to issue a refund using USDC, the refund may require a new blockchain transaction rather than reversal of the original transaction.
9. PayPort Direct USDC Transaction Fees
PayPort Direct currently charges a:
0% percentage-based PayPort transaction fee on supported USDC Direct payments.
This means PayPort Direct does not take a percentage of the USDC Direct payment merely because the payment was received through PayPort Direct.
However, this does not mean every Digital Dollar transaction is guaranteed to be completely free.
Blockchain network costs, third-party provider costs, conversion costs, withdrawal costs, or other charges may apply depending on the transaction and services used.
PayPort Direct subscription and usage-level charges also apply separately.
10. Sponsored and Gasless Transactions
Certain eligible transactions may use sponsored blockchain fees, sometimes described as gasless transactions.
When PayPort Direct or an infrastructure provider sponsors a network fee, the business may be able to complete an eligible transaction without separately paying that network fee.
Gasless or sponsored transactions are:
- subject to availability;
- subject to fair-use limits;
- subject to transaction and spending limits;
- dependent on supported infrastructure; and
- not guaranteed indefinitely.
PayPort Direct may limit, suspend, modify, or discontinue sponsored transaction functionality if necessary because of cost, abuse, security, provider limitations, network conditions, or other operational considerations.
A business should not interpret “gasless” as a promise that every blockchain transaction will always be free.
11. USDC Usage Levels
PayPort Direct subscription pricing may depend partly on the amount of USDC Direct payment volume processed during an applicable billing period.
PayPort Direct Standard currently includes up to $10,000 in USDC Direct volume per applicable billing period.
Businesses processing more than $10,000 and up to $50,000 in USDC Direct volume may be moved to PayPort Direct Plus for a subsequent billing period.
Businesses processing more than $50,000 may be subject to account review and custom pricing or terms.
Crossing a USDC usage threshold does not cause PayPort Direct to intentionally reject an otherwise valid incoming payment solely because the threshold was crossed.
Current pricing and usage information is available on the PayPort Direct pricing page.
12. Sending Digital Dollars
Where PayPort Direct provides functionality for sending USDC from a Business Wallet, the business is responsible for confirming all transaction information before authorizing the transfer.
You should never send USDC based solely on:
- an unexpected email;
- an unsolicited payment request;
- instructions from someone claiming to be support;
- an unverified wallet address; or
- pressure to act immediately.
Digital-asset transactions can be attractive targets for fraud because successfully completed transactions may be difficult or impossible to reverse.
PayPort Direct support will never ask you to send USDC to a personal wallet in order to “verify,” “unlock,” or “secure” your account.
If you receive suspicious instructions claiming to come from PayPort Direct, contact us independently at [email protected].
13. Network and Technology Risks
Digital Dollar functionality depends on technology that can fail or behave unexpectedly.
Risks may include:
- blockchain congestion;
- delayed confirmations;
- network outages;
- smart-contract errors;
- wallet infrastructure outages;
- third-party provider interruptions;
- software bugs;
- cybersecurity incidents;
- changes to supported networks;
- changes to USDC or its underlying infrastructure; and
- changes in law or regulation.
PayPort Direct does not guarantee continuous availability of any particular blockchain network, digital asset, wallet provider, or Digital Dollar capability.
14. Security Risks
You are responsible for protecting access to your PayPort Direct account.
If an unauthorized person gains control of an account capable of authorizing Digital Dollar transactions, unauthorized blockchain transactions may be difficult or impossible to recover.
Use strong authentication practices and immediately contact PayPort Direct if you suspect unauthorized access.
PayPort Direct may temporarily restrict Digital Dollar functionality when reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, abuse, account compromise, or security risks.
15. Fraud and Scams
Digital assets can be used in scams and fraudulent schemes.
Businesses should independently verify customers, vendors, payment requests, wallet addresses, and transaction instructions where appropriate.
PayPort Direct cannot guarantee the identity, honesty, legitimacy, or intentions of another person merely because that person can send or receive a Digital Dollar payment.
16. Taxes and Accounting
Receiving, holding, sending, exchanging, or otherwise using Digital Dollars may have tax, accounting, recordkeeping, or reporting consequences.
PayPort Direct does not provide tax, accounting, investment, or legal advice.
Businesses are responsible for maintaining appropriate records and determining their own obligations.
Consult a qualified professional if you are uncertain about the treatment of Digital Dollar transactions.
17. No Investment Advice
PayPort Direct is designed to provide business payment functionality, not cryptocurrency trading or investment advice.
Nothing presented through PayPort Direct should be interpreted as:
- investment advice;
- a recommendation to purchase or hold USDC or another digital asset;
- a prediction about the future value of a digital asset; or
- a guarantee of investment performance.
Businesses should make their own decisions regarding whether and how long to hold Digital Dollars received from customers.
18. Regulatory Changes
Laws and regulations governing stablecoins, blockchain networks, wallets, payments, and digital assets continue to evolve.
Changes in law, regulation, provider requirements, or industry practices may require PayPort Direct to:
- modify Digital Dollar functionality;
- request additional information;
- impose additional restrictions;
- change supported networks or assets;
- temporarily suspend functionality; or
- discontinue particular Digital Dollar capabilities.
We may make such changes when reasonably necessary to comply with law, provider requirements, security considerations, or operational needs.
19. Digital Dollar Ready
PayPort Direct's optional Digital Dollar Ready White-Glove Service provides guided implementation assistance.
Purchasing the service does not eliminate the risks described in this Disclosure and does not guarantee Digital Dollar Ready certification.
Successful completion of applicable requirements may qualify a business for Digital Dollar Ready recognition through Digital Town Network.
Certification reflects satisfaction of applicable readiness requirements. It should not be interpreted as a guarantee that Digital Dollar transactions are risk-free, insured, profitable, or suitable for every business.
20. Your Decision to Use Digital Dollars
Using Digital Dollar / USDC functionality is optional.
Businesses should consider their own operational, financial, accounting, tax, security, and legal circumstances when deciding whether to accept, hold, or send Digital Dollars.
If you do not understand a Digital Dollar transaction, wallet address, blockchain network, or payment instruction, do not authorize the transaction until you understand what will happen.
21. Changes to This Disclosure
We may update this Disclosure as PayPort Direct's Digital Dollar functionality, supported technology, or applicable requirements change.
The effective date at the top of this Disclosure will indicate the current version.
Material changes may also be communicated through PayPort Direct where appropriate.
